What can I expect?

Explore Rembrandt House Museum
There was a time when master painter Rembrandt van Rijn ran the Netherlands' largest painting studio, but he lost it all to bankruptcy.

Between 1639 and 1658, Rembrandt himself lived and worked in this beautiful house in Amsterdam. The Rembrandt House now owns pretty much the whole collection of Rembrandt’s etchings, and a lot of his possessions.

At the museum, you can see Rembrandt’s military helmets and weaponry, Roman busts and his collection of seashells. The Rembrandt House has been redecorated with furniture, art and objects dating from the 17th century, so you can really get a feel for his world.

You can also join the daily sketching and painting sessions so you can learn to paint like Rembrandt himself.
